Hi! My name is Katrina Rankis, and I am a sixth-year doctoral candidate at Chestnut Hill College. I am excited to be completing my doctoral internship at Prism Therapy Centers, and I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with you.
As your therapist, you will find me to be gentle, honest, and curious. I am trained from a psychodynamic and systemic background, which means my goal is to get to know the most authentic version of yourself and help you find clarity around some of the life experiences that maybe made you feel disconnected from this version of you.
Because authenticity is the driving force of my practice, I tailor my approach to meet the needs of each individual client. I may at times be quiet, ask a lot of questions, or even laugh with you. Whichever the case, it is my mission to help you find yourself and advocate for what is necessary for you to live a life that feels congruent to who you are.
While receiving my bachelor’s degree at Temple University, I worked as a makeup artist in downtown Philadelphia. This is where my passion for helping others find their inner light began and has translated into my work as a clinician. Clients have shared that they have found me to be relatable, enjoyable to work with, and easy to talk to.
If I have the privilege to meet you, I hope you feel the same. I look forward to sharing this experience with you!
